Balance of the Russian Federation
In process of development of market reforms integration of the Russian economy into world economy system becomes more and more deep and many-sided. Recently became obvious that unlike last years to make significant impact on dynamics of macroeconomic indicators of the country of a steel not only conjuncture change in the world commodity markets, but also a number of other factors. So, recent shocks in the financial markets of the world, for the first time so obviously mentioned the Russian economy in the end of 1997, have forced to look at short - and intermediate term prospects of economic development of the country more attentively. Sharp deterioration of a conjuncture in the market of oil the prices on which for last months have fallen to record-breaking low over the last ten years it1 became other factor which action has synchronised financial crisis. In the beginning of 1998, in comparison with January of last year, they were more low approximately on third. Despite some rise in prices for crude oil in March (to 102 dollars for ton), all of them still remain at rather low level. Considering that oil is one of the basic sources of currency receipts (in 1997 it has been exported 126.8 million tons of oil, for the sum of 14.8 billion dollars), so essential falling of the prices should affect on an internal economic situation of the country and not affect dynamics of indicators of execution of the budget, volumes of output, the rate of exchange, the balance of payments.
